The National FFA Convention is held annually. A four day event that encompass: members from across the nation competing in Career Development Events, presenting Agriscience Fair projects, participating in a day of service, listening and becoming inspired by motivational speakers, to attending one of the largest commercial and career expos.  There is something for everyone at the National FFA Convention.  

The Maryland FFA Delegation is made up of first place state winners in each Career Development Event, Agriscience Fair, Proficiency, and American Degrees. Designated Maryland regional delegates may also have the opportunity to attend.

The purpose of the Regional Leadership Conferences (RLC) is to develop positive and productive leadership skills with local FFA members and officers.  

By hosting five regional events, the State FFA Officers able to interact personally with as many members as possible.

The Maryland State FFA Convention is held annually shortly after school is out of session.  A three day event that encompass: Career Development Events, Leadership Workshops for Advisors and Members, General Business Sessions to honor supporters and present awards, host a Past State Officer Dinner, and provide fun and fellowship for all.

The Maryland FFA Association allows its state second place teams to compete in the available Career Development Events held in September each year in Springfield, Mass. The first place state winners in public speaking may participate at The Big E for practice for nationals.
