Maryland FFA Award Programs

The Golden Owl Award a program to recognize agricultural educators from across the state of Maryland.  Nominations open October 1st and close December 31 of the current year.   It is co-sponsored by the Maryland FFA, Nationwide Mutural Insurance Company in conjuction with the Maryland Farm Bureau.
 
 

FFA Proficiency Awards

The Agricultural Proficiency Awards honor FFA members who, through their SAEs, have developed specialized skills that they can apply toward their future careers. Additional information is available on the National FFA webpage. 

Supervised Agricultural Experience Grants

FFA members who wish to initiate or improve their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs) can apply for an SAE grant. 

College Scholarships

FFA members can earn degrees as they progress through the phases of their leadership, academic and career skills development.

The Gift of Blue Program is for deserving members to earn a FFA jacket, a tie or scarf.  Each chapter may order up to three jackets at a discounted price of $20 each. The program is sponsored by the Maryland FFA Foundation.  The jackets will be awarded at the State Spring Judging Event or distributed to each FFA advisor to present to deserving recipients.
