MD FFA Horse Evaluation CDE

The MD FFA Horse Evaluation CDE will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024 Check in at 8 am at the Great Frederick Fairgrounds, Frederick, MD. The national FFA rules will be followed as resources are available.
The deadline for registering a team of 4, and or up to 6 individuals is no later than April 1st.
Horse Evaluation:
8:00 am- Check in time
8:35-9:45 am- Individual Identification skills among all contestants
10:00 am- Judging of 6 classes of horses
1:00 pm- Begin oral reasons on 2 classes of horses
Members are reminded to bring their own lunch and a drink. Be sure to bring extra bottles of water and protective gear for the weather. Every participant is to bring their own clipboard that is clean and free of notes and debris with sharpened pencils. There will be more details to follow.
